BEN brings statutory and voluntary organisations, academic and research institutions, community groups, and individuals together to stimulate, enable and develop ethnic participation in the environmental arena.
BEN membership, and places at the Network Conferences, are free to BEN Network members who are from small community groups or who are individuals. BEN will also subsidise travel to the Conference when necessary. BEN members in the other categories attend at reduced rates. No organisation or individual will be denied membership due to a lack of ability to pay. Please contact the BEN UK Office for further details.
BEN produces a range of free resource and information sheets and other publications which share good practice and address issues in the field of ethnic environmental participation.
BEN provides a free advice and information service.
BEN provides a free networking service.
BEN works to create new opportunities for ethnic environmental participation.
BEN provides tailored training days for working with awareness and effectively with ethnic groups. Fees to be agreed.
BEN provides a consultancy service on strategic policy development, project and campaign work, specific advice on the multi-cultural content of leaflets and publications, designing events aimed at ethnic environmental participation, etc. Fees to be agreed.
BEN membership is free to small community groups and individuals. However, no other organisations will be denied membership or places at BEN conferences or events because of inability to pay. Please contact us for further details.
